Movie Review: Nosferatu

Movie Review: Nosferatu

I recently had the chance to watch Nosferatu with the What’s Up Weirdo and it was quite the cinematic experience. The film started off slow, requiring a bit of patience, but once it found its rhythm, I was drawn in by its haunting beauty and atmospheric storytelling. The aesthetic was truly breathtaking—every shot felt like a carefully crafted painting, adding a timeless allure to the story. The cast delivered strong performances, skillfully conveying the eerie and seductive undertones that made the film so intriguing. However, I found Count Orlock’s look to be a bit underwhelming. While the character’s presence was unnerving, his appearance could have been more impactful to enhance the overall creep factor.

While it didn’t fully meet my expectations, I still enjoyed the experience. The film’s artistic beauty and captivating performances make it worth a watch, even if the pacing wasn’t flawless. Overall, I’d give Nosferatu a solid 3/5.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely—just be prepared for a slow build.
